full day abu simble by private car

Early morning transfer by air conditioned bus to Abu Simbel.  The two temples of Abu Simbel with their unique style were both temples were carved from one piece of rock.  It is such an incredible piece of art work it has been named the "Jewel of the desert".  Twice a year the sun hits the statue vertically, once on the day of Ramses 2nd birthday and once on his coronation day.  The temple underwent renovation in 1968 due to flooding.
